Today the All Party Parliamentary Nuclear Energy Group, of which I am Chair, submitted a response to the Government’s public consultation on the Future of Nuclear Power.

The group and I have called on the Government to give the go ahead to new nuclear build ensuring that the security of energy supply of the country is maintained and that the lights do not go out.
